No, The Blender addon is completely free.

Are there any plans to add new models and make additional improvements?

Yes. QuickMaker will keep improving. We add models when they are genuinely useful for artists, not just because they are new. Like the rest of the QuickTools suite, QuickMaker is built for ongoing updates, support, and practical workflow improvements.

Can I use this offline?

No, you must have an active internet connection to use this tool.

What platforms are supported?

QuickMaker works on all Mac and Windows PCs.

Can I use this for commercial use?

Yes! The user retains full ownership of all generated assets.

Why is my image not generating?

Make sure you have enough credits for the job you are submitting. For any other problems, read the error log under Blender's Window -> System Console for more details when an error occurs and submit a bug report via email or Discord.

Can I get a credit refund?

We will handle refunds on a case by case basis. All generations are logged and we can easily review what happened and credit you if deemed appropriate. Contact us via email or the QuickTools Discord.

How long does it take to generate?

Generation time depends on your internet connection and the model you choose. A typical 2D image takes about 10 seconds, and a typical 3D model takes about 2 minutes. The generation wait has been cut out of our videos for viewer experience. Blender stays live while jobs run, and over time we expect generation to get faster as AI models and infrastructure continue improving. The present moment is likely the slowest AI generation will ever be.

Are there any rate limits?

You can send up to 10 generations per minute on a single account.

Why use this addon instead of going directly to a service?

QuickMaker keeps the AI workflow inside Blender. Direct provider sites can be useful, but you still have to manage separate subscriptions, credits, API keys, uploads, downloads, and imports. QuickMaker combines image, 3D, video, and upscaling models in one Blender workflow so you can generate from your scene, sketch over results, and keep designing.

Something happened and my credits are gone?

Contact us via email or the QuickTools Discord. We reserve the right to manually adjust user credits on a case by case basis.

Permission/Firewall errors?

Most issues are permission or outbound network blocks. On macOS, allow Blender screen recording access for screenshots. If you use antivirus, endpoint security, a corporate proxy, or a strict firewall, allow Blender to make outbound HTTPS requests for QuickMaker uploads, downloads, and job status checks.

Is QuickMaker private and secure?

Your account is protected and your generated assets are yours. QuickMaker uses standard secure account practices. Generation providers still receive the prompts and files needed to run each model, so review provider terms if your studio has strict content policies.

Will it get faster?

Yes! Right now this is the worst AI models will ever be. We believe that in the future high quality images and models will be a one second download away, and this addon will be here to bring that into Blender for you.

Is AI okay to use as an artist?

We built QuickMaker to support artists, not replace them. The workflow starts from your models, sketches, prompts, references, and decisions. AI helps you explore directions faster, build references, create kitbash material, and iterate for client work while keeping creative control in Blender.
